Groovin the Moo 2024 cancelled due to poor ticket sales

This year’s Groovin the Moo has been cancelled, with the festival citing insufficient ticket sales as the reason.

“We are extremely disappointed to announce that the Groovin the Moo 2024 tour has been forced to cancel,” the festival said in a statement.

“Ticket sales have not been sufficient to deliver a regional festival of this kind. All tickets will be refunded automatically.

“Thank you to everybody who has supported the festival. We hope to be able to bring Groovin the Moo back to regional communities in the future.”

The festival was set to take place between 25 April and 11 May at six regional(ish) locations including Canberra, Wayville (SA), Bendigo (VIC), Newcastle (NSW), Bunbury (WA) and Sunshine Coast (QLD).

The lineup was announced just recently on 31 January before tickets went on sale only eight days ago on 6 February.
