Update: Scullin man John Catling found

Update: ACT Policing advises the missing man, John Catling, whom they posted about earlier today, has been found safe and well. Police thank the Canberra community for their help.


ACT Policing is seeking the public’s assistance to locate missing 33-year-old man John Catling.

John last spoke with his family on Friday 31 March and has not been heard from since then. He normally resides in Scullin however has not been at his residence for more than two weeks.  

He is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 168cm (5’7”) tall, with shaved light brown hair, brown eyes and of a heavy build. 

John does not drive and regularly uses public transport or walks.  

Police and John’s family hold concerns for his welfare and are requesting the public’s assistance in locating him.
