ACT Policing is investigating several incidents on Sunday 27 June that are believed to be linked to a stolen grey Ford Falcon sedan.
The Falcon G6E sedan, with distinctive large wheels and number plates YON65G, was reported stolen from Kippax Place, Holt (adjacent to the Holt playing fields) about 11.50am Sunday.
The Ford sedan, and another vehicle, possibly a white Toyota Camry, were both driven via Southern Cross Drive towards Coulter Drive about midday.
Police believe the Falcon was involved in a ‘road rage’ incident in Kambah about 4.15pm, before it was recovered by police in Belconnen on Sunday evening.
Two people were arrested on Sunday evening in relation to the theft of the Falcon, and faced the ACT Magistrates Court yesterday, Monday 28 June.
There are several other persons of interest related to this incident, and police enquiries are continuing.
Police are seeking witnesses and footage of the Kippax incident, and of the two vehicles around the Kippax or Kambah areas during Sunday.
Anyone with information that could assist police is urged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000, or via the Crime Stoppers ACT website. Please quote reference 6834427. Information can be provided anonymously.
