Once a year, American fast food giant In-N-Out chooses one city in Australia to set up a pop-up store for a day, and this year they chose to do it right here in Canberra at Walt and Burley in Kingston.
With every cent now counted, Hands Across Canberra has announced that its 2023 Canberra Day Appeal has raised more than $850,000, all of which goes to help local charities and organisations around the ACT region.
The case could be made for this week to go down in history as Capital burger week. With a whopping total of 600 free burgers being dished up between two local burger joints, Grease Monkey adding the charitable ‘Steak Burley Griffin’ to their menu, and a newcomer setting up shop in Dickson, Canberra burger-lovers can literally eat their hearts out.
