ACT Policing has charged a 40-year-old Kambah man with manslaughter after police allege he injected his partner with heroin, causing her to overdose in August of 2021.
A 42-year-old Monash man will face the ACT Magistrates Court this morning, Monday 18 April, charged with manslaughter after the death of a 40-year-old Melba woman.
Industrial manslaughter, i.e. disregard of safe work practices resulting in the death of a worker, is now an offence in the ACT, and can cost millions of dollars in fines or jail time.
