Doma’s ‘The Parks Residences’ in Red Hill has received DA approval, with construction work expected to begin on the development early next year.
The Parks Residences sit on 5.2 hectares behind Red Hill Shops and will see 136 apartments built across six buildings in a village-like precinct. Inspired by townhouses in Paris and London, Doma’s senior development manager David Jameson said The Parks is appealing to buyers who may have originally been priced out of the Red Hill market.
“There is research suggesting the 20-minute neighbourhood, where we have all the conveniences we need close to home, is the way people want to live and is the new gold standard for urban planning,” he said.
Construction is expected to be completed in mid-2022.
