Woden man claims $200k lottery win

Just weeks after winning almost $150,000, a Woden man has struck gold again after discovering he had won more than $200,000 in yesterday’s lottery draw.

The ACT resident won the guaranteed 1st Prize of $200,000 on Monday 23 October. In addition to his prize, the winning manโ€™s entry also scored two consolation prizes of $1,000, bolstering his total to $202,000.

The windfall comes after he also scored a syndicate share worth $147,491.96 on Saturday 30 September.

The gleeful man said he was in disbelief and couldnโ€™t comprehend his second major windfall.

โ€œOh my god! Thank you!โ€ he gasped.

โ€œThis is crazy. Just last month I won a division one syndicate share in Saturday Lotto.

โ€œI canโ€™t believe this. What a shock!

โ€œIโ€™ve been playing for more than 18 years with no luck and now suddenly, I get two wins in less than a month.

โ€œWhat a memorable day!โ€

The winning man revealed he had a couple of generous plans in mind for what heโ€™d like to do with his newfound treasure.

โ€œFor my division one syndicate win, I gave it all to my wife,โ€ he shared.

โ€œI think with this prize, Iโ€™ll put some away for my childrenโ€™s education.

โ€œThen Iโ€™ll donate some and put the rest towards a holiday for my family.โ€
