11 new coronavirus cases for Southern NSW

The Southern NSW Local Health District (SNSWLHD) has recorded 11 new coronavirus cases in the 24 hours to 8pm last night.

Four of the new cases are in the Queanbeyan-Palerang region with two linked. Two are in Karabar, one is in Queanbeyan and one is in Jerrabomberra.

There are four new cases in the Snowy Monaro area, all remain under investigation. Two are in Cooma and two are in Jindabyne.

Goulburn recorded two new cases which are both linked.

The Bega Valley recorded one fresh infection which is still under investigation. The case is in Bega.

There have now been 373 total cases in the SNSWLHD since the start of the outbreak in June.

The areas within the SNSWLHD that have active cases are Queanbeyan-Palerang (130), Goulburn (56), Eurobodalla (22), Yass (1), Bega Valley (7) and the Snowy Monaro region (70).

There remains four people in hospital with the virus.
