A 28-year-old Palmerston man was arrested by ACT Policing yesterday, Sunday 15 January, and charged after an alleged sexual assault.

Police will allege the man sexually assaulted a woman at his residence on Friday evening, 13 January.   

After a search warrant was executed at his residence on Sunday, the man was arrested.

He will face the ACT Magistrates Court this morning on six charges, including sexual assault in the second degree, two counts of sexual intercourse without consent, an act of indecency without consent, an act endangering health, assault occasioning actual bodily harm.
