Fatal Wollongong stabbing, man arrested

A 26-year-old man has been arrested after a fatal stabbing south of Wollongong today that police believe was domestic-related.

Emergency services were called to a Warilla home early on Saturday morning, after reports of a domestic assault.

NSW Police found a 46-year-old man with multiple stab wounds at the McCabe Street house.

He was treated by paramedics but died at Wollongong Hospital a short time later.

Police arrested the younger man at the home and established a crime scene.

The 26-year-old is assisting police with their inquiries, and an investigation into the incident is ongoing.
