Four new COVID-19 cases in Queanbeyan

The Southern NSW Local Health District (SNSWLHD) has recorded four new COVID-19 cases overnight, with all of them in Queanbeyan.

Of all four cases in the Queanbeyan-Palerang LGA, two are in Jerrabomberra, one is in Queanbeyan and one is in Karabar. One of the Jerrabomberra case is under investigation with the other three linked to known cases.

This brings the total number of cases in the SNSWLHD to 552 since the start of the outbreak in June.

The areas within the SNSWLHD that have cases under ‘virtual care’ are Queanbeyan-Palerang (44), Yass Valley (6), Bega Valley (6) and Upper Lachlan (1).

There are currently zero people in hospital with the virus.
