Kingston hotel victim named

A 44-year-old man who died after an altercation at the Kingston Hotel on Sunday night has been identified as Warren Hordpenko from Dalmeny, New South Wales.

ACT Policing have been investigating the incident and are treating it as suspicious.

The investigation remains ongoing.

The incident occurred inside the Kingston Hotel where around 20 to 30 other patrons were present at the time.

An ACT Policing spokesperson said they were called to the scene by ambulance officers who were working with staff to treat the man, but he died on the scene.

Police are calling for anyone at the Kingston Hotel on the evening of Sunday 5 July, who interacted with Mr Hordpenko (pictured), to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000, or via the Crime Stoppers ACT website.

Police also urge anyone who has images or video footage from inside the Kingston Hotel to contact police.
