McDonald’s Dickson grand reopening

No need to leave the kids at grandma’s next weekend; there’s loads of entertainment at the grand reopening of McDonald’s Dickson, taking place Saturday 4 December with festivities kicking off at 11am.

The golden arches on the corner of Badham Street and Dickson Place welcome you back with oodles of fun for kids, including a jumping castle, a magic show, and even a visit from Ronald McDonald!

Come by for a super special meet n’ greet with the clown himself!

Escape the weather and climb into the brand new, two-storey indoor playground. Children 14 and under can be the first players to try out the colourful castle, rebuilt for the first time in decades and ready for a ton of fun. Wave to Mum and Dad from the double-storey windows.

And the party doesn’t stop there – on this day only you can get McGiveaways through a lucky dip of toys, books and more, for kids of all ages.

From 10.30am until midnight, Friday to Sunday 3-5 December, McDonald’s Dickson is treating its customers to $2 McCafé coffees, $1 sundaes and cheeseburgers, and hash browns for just 50 cents – deals the whole family can enjoy (limit of four per transaction).

“We’re extremely proud and honoured to reinvest into the community by providing better facilities for our customers and our staff,” says restaurant owner, Hani Sidaros.

McDonald’s Dickson has been fitted with brand new indoor and outdoor seating, so whether you’re going for a late-night snack, seeking a study spot with plenty of charging points and free Wi-Fi, or just planning on enjoying the warmer weather, they’ve got you covered.

“We’ve given the whole store a facelift from the inside out.”

The Dickson team’s number one priority in the refurb was to invest back into the community by creating a smoother restaurant experience all around. That means more kiosks for touch-and-go ordering, dedicated space for McCafé diners, and upgraded restroom facilities for customers to appreciate.

Still more comfortable with contactless pickup? No problem. McDonald’s Dickson has put extra effort into improving their drive-through, keeping pace with the times. Their new “fast forward” drive-through window provides customers with a smooth experience.

Still not convinced? Come by and see for yourself.

“The staff are excited to welcome back customers into our new and improved family restaurant,” says Hani.
