Southern NSW records seven new COVID-19 cases

The Southern NSW Local Health District (SNSWLHD) has recorded seven new coronavirus cases in the 24 hours to 8pm last night.

Two of the cases are in the Queanbeyan-Palerang area with one in Googong and one in Karabar. One of the cases is linked and the other remains under investigation.

There are three new cases in Goulburn with two linked to known cases.

The Bega Valley region has one new case which is under investigation. The case is in Tathra.

Cooma in the Snowy Monaro region has one new linked COVID-19 case.

The total cases in the SNSWLHD is now 400 since the start of the outbreak in June.

The areas within the SNSWLHD that have active cases are Queanbeyan-Palerang (139), Goulburn (62), Eurobodalla (24), Yass (1), Bega Valley (9) and the Snowy Monaro region (78).

There are two people in hospital with the virus.
