ACT Parks and Conservation Service has launched their Visitor Experience Survey to help improve parks, reserves and plantations.

“We know that the Canberra community loves our parks, and we want to know more about how they use them and what they think we could improve,” Mick Gentleman, ACT Minister for Planning and Land Management, said.

“Information collected through this survey will help us direct resources into programs and facilities that best suit the needs of our visitors.

“People who complete the survey will also go into the draw to win a Tidbinbilla Nature Reserve Annual Pass. There are three in total up for grabs.”

The Parks, Reserves and Plantations Visitor Experience Survey closes 31 May.

To complete the survey, visit the Parks ACT survey form online. Visitors heading to the parks, reserves, and plantations may also encounter a field officer conducting face-to-face surveys.

Mr Gentleman said the ACT Government is dedicated to continually improving these beautiful spaces for locals and visitors to enjoy.  

“No Canberran lives further than 3.5km from a nature reserve, national park, or pine plantation,” the minister said.

“With 39 parks and reserves in Canberra Nature Park, there is a lot of variety and choice about what to do, whether it’s exercising, having fun or sightseeing. We want to hear from anyone who visits our parks and reserves.”
