Sydney Thunder’s BBL 13 matches in Canberra confirmed

The Sydney Thunder will face the Brisbane Heat and Adelaide Strikers in their two visits to Canberra this BBL 13 campaign, with the club’s matchups for Manuka Oval announced today.

Despute the season being shortened from 14 games down to 10, the Thunder will still host two matches in the nation’s capital, with the club’s other three home games to be held at Sydney Showground Stadium.

The first of the two trips to Manuka will see Thunder face the Heat on Tuesday 12 December, in a rematch of last season’s Eliminator Final in which Brisbane progressed through.

Canberra fans will also have the opportunity to witness the Thunder take on the Strikers – the side responsible for the now infamous match in which they bowled the Thunder out for 15 last summer.
