Spring gardening with Yates

Spring is one of the busiest times in the gardening calendar, with so many fantastic plants to sow, grow and enjoy. In frost protected spots, it’s time to sow seeds of vegies and herbs like lettuce, zucchini, tomatoes, eggplant, beetroot, pumpkin and basil. And you can brighten garden beds and outdoor spaces with vibrant flowers like petunias, geraniums, dianthus and daisies.

It’s important to nurture your spring garden with regular applications of fertilisers and also be watchful for insect pests like aphids and caterpillars, which love tender spring growth.
