BMW, guns seized as police investigate Kyrgios Tesla theft

ACT Policing have seized a BMW, firearms and other items from a Gilmore property as investigations continue into the aggravated robbery in Watson on Monday 1 May, during which Nick Kyrgios’ Tesla was stolen. 

On the afternoon of Tuesday 2 May, police executed a search warrant at a residence in Gilmore and located a shotgun, believed to be the firearm used during the robbery.  

During the search two other firearms, a pistol and a .177 air rifle, were also located and seized, along with an unreturned, rented BMW, commercial-grade fireworks, and substances suspected of being illicit drugs. 

The seized items will be subjected to forensic examination as a part of the ongoing investigation.
