International flights could soon resume at Canberra Airport with Fiji Airways expected to announce a new direct route to Canberra this week.

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Tourism, Viliame Gavoka will join ACT Chief Minister Andrew Barr, along with executives from the airline and airport, to announce “details about an exciting new development and what it means for Canberra”.
