Four new COVID-19 cases in Queanbeyan, five in Batemans Bay

The Southern NSW Local Health District has recorded nine new cases of COVID-19 in the 24 hours to 8pm last night with four in Queanbeyan.

All four cases in Queanbeyan remain under investigation with none of them yet to be linked.

Batemans Bay has recorded five new coronavirus cases with four linked and one under investigation.

The total active cases in the SNSWLHD is now 102 with 27 of those in Queanbeyan and 23 in Batemans Bay.

There have been a total of 118 cases in the SNSWLHD region since the beginning of the outbreak in June with 16 recovered cases.

There are four people currently in hospital.
