ACT electric vehicle experience aims to help you make the switch

With petrol prices continuing to rise and government policy expected to change, the ACT Electric Vehicle Association is anticipating the demand for environmentally friendly cars to skyrocket.

This weekend they are hitting the street – or carpark in this case – to debunk electric vehicle myths, offer rides and answer any questions you might have at their Electric Vehicle Experience in the city on Sunday.

With over a dozen electric vehicles expected to pull into the Knowles Place Car Park on Sunday, locals will have the chance to get a feel for a range of EVs. From luxury to everyday, there is an EV to suit your needs, the ACT EV Association says.

Some of the vehicles hoping to catch your eye include EV poster child the Tesla Model 3, BMW’s i4, the Nissan Leaf and the Hyundai Ioniq.

The EV Association believes the best way to learn all the benefits of an EV is to own one. The second-best way is to talk to an owner.

If you’re Interested in learning more about electric vehicles, head to the Knowles Place car park off London Circuit from 10am to 2pm this Sunday 5 June.
